QSL tenders scam, touch this and sign up for a fight or ££££

I have edited my report after a complaint from Charlie Daisley of QSL Ltd, Unit 7 The Point, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, LE16 7QU, 01858 468 740 charlie.daisley@qsltenders
Company Director :- David Ian Hosie, NN17 2RN
Company Secretary:- Gordon Hosie LE16 7NY (Director change of Particulars GORDON HOSIE 01/01/2010
Charles Daisley said my claims were unsubstantiated!
I have therefore removed any words that I feel were ambiguous and added websites where other people have found the companies method of creating business less than Ethical! if you only follow one of these then please go to:-
http://qsl-tenders-scam.blogspot.com/,  as this is quite comprehensive

If you are a small business and like all of us feeling the pinch, it looks like a good idea to get free tenders for 4 weeks and see if it works for you!
BEWARE! QSL tenders run an advert that offers just this free for four weeks, however the time you first look for a tender is recorded by QSL the exact time that you start the 4 free weeks (to the minute) you must cancel before this 4 weeks is up or you will be invoiced for the whole year including the first four weeks which are only free if you cancel in time?
The business sends information that is available for free on the internet and although I told them what my business did  the tender info sent was totally irrelevant ?
SO 1 MINUTE AFTER THE DEADLINE I owed them  £595.41 + £103.51 VAT = £695.00  (varies for some reason) with threats to send in the bailiffs as soon as I made contact even though I had written and emailed them... apparently they never got the letter as it was lost in the post, I believe that these people are evil and pray on honest hard working people.
However as most people don't have the time or resources to fight and win the company offer a  reduction in charges to 25% and  I expect most people would see this as the lesser of two evils.
Whilst my "Trial" period ended on the 10th of February 2010 the fight went on for months, They recorded my first log in as at 12.29 on the 13th of January 2010 and although there were only a few  times that I logged on each one was logged to the minute.  My log on was apparently my order confirmation and also my agreement of the T's&C's.
SO  JUST CANCEL ........................... easier said than done! the email that you had in order  to set up the tenders does not accept a cancelation! ( this is from the T's&C's   you miss it you will have to pay).... "We do not accept verbal, written, or email cancellations". you have to write from within your account with them? but usually by the time you have got this far you already owe £695.00, and if you do write ... Mine was LOST IN THE POST ? so I was told that I still owed £695.00,
I had the luxury of time and a terrier attitude that won't let go and set to take them on! I found the business details and directors from 'Companies House for a £ and set forth to contact the directors at home, I contacted their local newspaper and told them what they were up to (making sure I had the name of the reporter Black I think) then Trading standards, OFT etc, whilst calling the directors who would not speak to me on the Phone as I wanted  to ask WHY!
I found that one of the two did a lot of running for charity and made sure I told the charity how he was making his money.
The case number for the OFT is 2755156 agent 'John' who then passed me on to Trading Standards tel. 08454 04 05 06
QSL have loads of bad history, but don't take my word for it go to ...
The list goes on and on
Good luck with your business

QSL Tenders - will they ever change????? NO of course not...

I agree with everything that Mr Evans has posted above. QSL are a company that use's it website to catch people with there terms and conditions.
QSL make sure they dont contact you during the trial or at the end of it making sure it runs over and then sting you with a large invoice. They have been exposed on coutless web forumns but they are obviously making good money out of people with this scam.
They do not listen to the coutless people who have complained, they just carry on threatening and trying to criminlise honest business people.
Please also note that all public sector tenders are avaialble free anyway  - http://www.contractsfinder.businesslink.gov.uk/ so they are reslling free info.

Short and Sweet - qsl are scam dont pay them a penny total scam

qsl are scam dont pay them a

qsl are scam dont pay them a penny total scam

QS HELL - Got caught in this 'honey-trap' set by this unethical company

Got caught in this 'honey-trap' set by this unethical company.  If their business is so good, why would they need to trap ppl into taking it up?  It would thrive on reputation instead of spending all their time writing up bills that no one asked for or wanted.
'Opt out' companies must be desperate parasites to earn a living from billing ppl with the year's subscription from a supposedly free trial.  I had emailed them to say 'I cancel' within the hour of signing up.
I am disgusted with this practise...parasites! bleeding honest hard working companies of their meagre income
SHAME ON THEM...QS HELL....

qsl-tenders.co.uk

www.qsl-tender.co.uk is a Scam website that  is dedicated to taking peoples money unfairly. It operates in an unprofessional and deceptive manner.
The Scam….
New Business’s and existing try to increase there work load…
They are aware there are tender lists that supply potential new contracts…
Many lists are free already, so the information that QSL offers doesnt need to be paid for in the first place, thats the first part of the scam i.e getting people to pay for free information.
Next they offer a free trial of the service but it isnt what it seems.  They hide the true terms and conditions from the unsespecting trialist hopeing that at the very end they dont spot the catch…
The catch is they need to cancel the trial at the end of the 4 week term, or according to them be liable for the full years subscription.
Some people might spot it, some might not, and its the ones who dont who QSL want to catch.
They wait until the trial expires and runs into there supposed subscription phase..
Then low and behold they send out an invoice.
If you try to question them, they get threatening, not the sort of people you want to do business with???
I will be addiing more information, with more links to help people, but in the meantime please leave any comments and don’t dispare.
They are criminals who have devised a clever way of legally extracting money from people, but it is a scam, whatever they say, however they try to dress it up.
The law needs to change and these people need to be banged up, money returned and let good people continue with there business’

QSL - Are scammers

I thought you might be interested in reporting on the following legal scam that many hundreds if not thousands of honest hard working business people are affected by. Two company’s involved, might be others, one is QSL-Tenders - http://www.qsl-tenders.co.uk/ another companies is called BiP solutions - http://www.bipsolutions.com/
They have a website that offers a free trial to a tender list service. Most of these tenders are available free anyway, but honest and sometimes new small business people look at these site’s to try generate more business.
During the trial process you are led through a series of pages where it says, free, free, free, no credit card of financial details are entered so you feel asif its risk free. The real terms are hidden from view and there is an innocuous line that states them – a misleading website…
The trap is that if you don’t cancel the subscription during the 4 weeks you are liable to a full year’s subscription- £700 – £2500 +
Most of the setup emails get spammed, some people don’t read or see the terms and say 5 out of 10 people forget to end the trial. What happens then is an invoice for the full amount arrives soon after the trials expire, they don’t contact you within the trial period or speak to you at the  end, just let it over run, and sting you.
They are putting people out of business and I am one of those people who are struggling to makes ends meet. I now have now an invoice for £1000 for a service I never used only within the free trial period, never wanted, never could afford at those prices and who wasn’t fully aware of the terms and conditions – but because you ticked a box then you are bound.
Please do something to help, there are countless web forums where people are in ruins over being taken for large sums of money from a service and company that doesn’t care about its customers. They just try catching people with the free trial and they using strong arm, threatening tactics to get their money back, it is a Scam.
The governments needs to supports growing business  and protect them from unscrupulous companies that can cripple new and existing business with these high charges that most people can’t afford.
